Engine short blocks or long blocks rebuilt by us are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials as follows. This is a limited warranty and is not an unconditional warranty of failures and hazards.
Passenger car and non-commercial light truck (1/2 ton and smaller): 90 days from date of invoice or 4,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Product warranty, no labor cost allowance.
Passenger car and non-commercial light truck (1/2 ton and smaller): 12 months from date of invoice or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Product warranty, no labor cost allowance.
Industry-standard coverage: 30 days from date of invoice or 1,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Product warranty, no labor cost allowance.
6 months from date of invoice. Product warranty, no labor cost allowance. A NEW oil cooler must be installed if the previous engine suffered any type of mechanical failure. Injector testing and/or replacement is highly recommended — injector failure is the leading cause of piston and cylinder damage in this engine (see condition #6 below).
The terms of this warranty begin on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser and are non-transferable to any other party or individual.

For this warranty to remain in effect:
Have motor oil and filters changed 500 miles after delivery, then at intervals of no more than 3,000 miles.
Provide receipts evidencing compliance with the above, issued by the firm/commercial operation that provided maintenance.
Monitor oil and coolant levels at regular intervals, and watch all gauges and warning lights to ensure proper engine operation.
